ABOUT ME

A pregnant woman with long dark hair, wearing a white ribbed outfit, sitting on the floor in front of a cream-colored tufted sofa, with a green leafy plant on a concrete wall behind her.
MY STORY

Hi, I’m Ally - mom, educator, and the person behind Crece Collective. By day, I help students and get to do the thing I love most, sit across from someone, listen closely and help them find their next right step. By night, lunch breaks and the in-between moments, I’m building something for the version of me who become a mother and didn’t recognize herself for a while. I have a Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a background in political science, education, and Spanish from Swarthmore; training that taught me me how to teach, and how to advocate for people who deserve to be seen. But becoming a mom taught me the most. Postpartum cracked me open in ways nothing else has, so I’ve built a space that was honest about how this journey can be. I’m in it, right alongside you, one post at a time.

From the new mom who is in the middle of the newborn trenches, the mom dreading the transition back into the workplace, or the mom who is celebrating her baby’s first birthday and has lost sight of herself, I am here.
